We have launched SPONSOR A DOG for the main benefit of our dogs who have been in our care for the longest: Each of these dogs has for one reason or another been overlooked by prospective owners. Their kennelling costs us £31.50 per week per dog so if you think you could sponsor one of them it would be a great help. Sponsorship will cost either £25.00 per year or £15.00 for 6 months. Simply send a cheque payable to 'Whitby and Scarborough Dog Rescue' to Church House, Flowergate, Whitby, YO21 3BA Don't forget to tell us which dog you would like to sponsor. Thank you!

BILLY THANK YOU! Billy was with us for well over 4 years. He is profoundly deaf and because of his special needs he was difficult to re-home. Now Billy has been successfully re-homed but he will remain as our mascot as we are all very attached to him.

TESS Tess has been with us for several years. She has tried out new homes but finds it difficult to settle anywhere new. She has problems with small fits which are responding to tablets. She has formed a very strong bond with her foster carers and we feel she's better off with them.
