We had a great day raising funds for the dog rescue on Saturday- we are very grateful to everyone who came to our stall and made it such a great day. A big thank you to all our Goth friends who may the day very special.
Sunday 22nd August '10 Regatta Fun Dog Show
Our Fun Dog Show at Whitby Regatta was very popular again this year with lots of beautiful dogs to choose from. Our tombola stall was a success too so a big thank you to all of you who attended and congratulations to the lucky winners. We hope to see you again next year.
Wednesday 25th August '10 Egton Show Tombola & Bric-a-brac Stall
We had a busy day on our stall at Egton Show this year with our tombola as popular as ever. Thank you to everyone who came along.

Our Stall at the Fun Day in Thorntree Park, Middlesbrough was very popular and there was a great turn out. Thanks to the organisers for inviting us.

We had a nice day at our first Dock End stall of the year with our tombola as popular as ever and our selection of second hand books sold well. We'll be there a few more times this year so we hope to see you there.

Saturday 17th April '10 Fun Dog Show - Whitby 40s weekend
We had a lovely day in the sunshine at this year's 40s weekend. There were so many fabulous dogs it was hard to choose the winners. The fancy dress competitors were especially impressive! Here is Millie (right) who won Best in Show and Jack who won reserve Best in Show (left). A big thank you to everyone who took part!
Sunday 13th December ''09 Christmas Fair
Our Christmas Fair at Aislaby Parish Hall was very successful and Santa Paws was a big hit with our younger supporters. We hope everyone who came enjoyed themselves and thank you all very much for your generosity.

Sunday 23rd August ''09 Whitby Regatta Fun Dog Show
Our fun dog show drew in the crowds again this year with so many gorgeous dogs it was impossible to choose the winners. The rescue dogs enjoyed their outing too - here''s Dexter soaking up the atmosphere. Thank you to everyone who took part, we''ll see you again next year.

Sunday 26th July '09 Tough Guy Challenge
Graham Matthew took part in the 2009 Tough Guy Nettle Warrior Challenge. This is an 8 mile assault course which is likened to the US Navy Seals "Grind House" assault course which is part of their selection process. As part of Tough Guy''s requirements half of the money raised will be donated to Whitby and Scarborough Dog Rescue and the rest will go to the local charities that Tough Guy are involved with. A big thank you to Graham for taking on this gruelling challenge!

Our stall outside the Tourist Information was a huge success and we are grateful to everybody who came along and showed their support. It was a great opportunity for our new mascot to have his first outing. We hope to see you all there again soon.

We had a great time at the Dog Fun Day at Stewart Park in Middlesbrough this year. Our rescue dogs enjoyed their day out and a chance to meet lots of other dogs and people. Here is Xena relaxing and taking everything in. Thank you to the organisers for inviting us.

The Forestry Commission''s Scrufts Dog Show was really enjoyable again this year. One of our rescue dogs, Jake, won "Shiniest Coat" and "Best Party Trick" for his roll over! Here he is proudly showing off his prizes. The organisers kindly donated some of the proceeds and bags of dog treats for the rescue dogs to enjoy. Thank you for your support!
Saturday 16th May '09 Jumble Sale
Our giant Jumble Sale at Aislaby Parish Hall was a great success with plenty of people grabbing bargains and winning great prizes on the tombola and a raffle. Thanks for your support!

Once again we had a great time at the 40''s weekend and an excellent turn out for our fun dog show. Everyone had a really enjoyable time, especially our rescue dogs who loved meeting everyone. We all had a great time at the Forestry Commission''s Canine Capers event in Dalby Forest. Our stall was a success and the rescue dogs enjoyed their day out. Banjo even won second prize in his category in the fun dog show!

FUN DOG SHOW SATURDAY 23rd APRIL 2011
We are delighted to announce Millbry Hill are very kindly hosting a Fun Dog Show on behalf of the Whitby Dog Rescue on Saturday 23rd April starting at 12 noon at Millbry Hill between Sleights road end and the Newholm turnoff on the A171. The classes will be as follows: Best Child Handler, Cutest Pup, Most Handsome Dog, The Prettiest Lady, Best Veteran, Waggiest Tail, Best Six Legs and Fancy Dress and this will be followed by the Show Champion.
Please come and support us - it will be a great fun time for all the family!
