DOG OF THE MONTH

DEXTER

Dexter is our current longest stay resident and has been with us since July. He is a brindle and white staffie cross who is very friendly and has lots of energy and a lovely personality. He is very affectionate, intelligent and eager to please. He needs a very secure garden and will need to bond with his owner before being trusted off lead.

If you think you could give Dexter the home he so deserves then please don't hesitate to get in touch on 01947 810787.

Unfortunately we are not legally allowed to take in stray dogs off the street.

If you find a stray dog you should...

Firstly, check if it has any identification which may allow you to contact the owner to return it.
If not, walk around the neighbourhood asking if anyone recognises the dog and may know where it comes from.
If you are unable to find the owner you should contact the Scarborough council dog warden during normal office hours (8.30-5.00, Mon-Fri) on 01723 232535 or outside office hours on 01723 351558.
